NRS Neso Vented Whitewater Helmet
The NRS Neso is a lightweight, multi-impact helmet designed to provide comfortable head protection for whitewater and water-rescue environments. Its streamlined construction combines an ABS outer shell with a multi-impact expanded polypropylene (EPP) foam liner to provide front, side, and rear head coverage while maintaining a relatively low overall weight.
The EPP impact liner is lightweight and does not absorb water, while soft closed-cell EVA foam padding provides additional comfort during extended wear. The helmet's slotted shell incorporates 11 ventilation and drainage openings, including two front vents, four top vents, and five rear vents, allowing air to circulate and water to drain quickly.
NRS's DARC retention system uses a rear adjustment dial to provide a precise fit and is designed to be replaceable. The adjustable Y-strap retention system incorporates a FidLock magnetic chin buckle for secure closure and convenient operation. A slight brim helps deflect water and sun from the wearer's face.
The Neso is certified to CE EN 1385 for whitewater use and is available in three sizes covering head circumferences from 51 to 61 cm.
