Website Legal Policies

These Website Legal Policies govern the use of this website, customer accounts, purchases, payments, shipping, returns, privacy practices, and the sale and use of products offered through this website. By accessing or using this website, creating an account, submitting an order, or purchasing a product, the user agrees to the applicable terms and policies set forth below.

Privacy Policy

Information Collected

We may collect information when a customer creates an account, requests a quotation, submits an inquiry, places an order, subscribes to communications, or otherwise interacts with the website. Such information may include name, company or organization, billing and shipping addresses, email address, telephone number, account credentials, order history, product inquiries, and other information reasonably necessary to provide requested products or services.

We may also automatically collect certain technical information, including IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, referring pages, dates and times of visits, and similar website usage information.

Payment Information

Payments may be processed through third-party payment processors and financial service providers. Complete payment-card information submitted through an authorized third-party payment processor is processed in accordance with that provider's security practices, terms, and privacy policies.

Payment processors may collect and process payment-card information, billing information, and related transaction information as necessary to authorize and complete transactions.

Use of Information

Information may be used to process and fulfill orders; administer customer accounts; provide quotations; process payments and refunds; communicate regarding orders, products, shipping, returns, warranties, recalls, or customer-service matters; maintain transaction and business records; prevent fraud and unauthorized transactions; improve website functionality and customer service; comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, contractual, and government procurement requirements; and provide marketing or promotional communications where permitted.

Customers may unsubscribe from marketing communications using the unsubscribe mechanism provided with those communications. Transactional, security, account, and order-related communications may continue when necessary to administer an account or transaction.

Disclosure of Information

Information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to service providers involved in website operations or transactions, including payment processors, hosting providers, software providers, manufacturers, distributors, fulfillment partners, shipping carriers, professional advisers, and other service providers.

Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, regulation, subpoena, court order, government request, contractual obligation, fraud-prevention or security requirements, or to protect legal rights, property, customers, or others.

Personal information is not sold for monetary consideration.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

The website may use cookies and similar technologies for website operation, customer authentication, shopping-cart functionality, security, preferences, analytics, and other website functions.

Where required by applicable law, users will be provided appropriate choices concerning nonessential cookies and similar technologies.

Data Security and Retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information appropriate to its nature. No electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, administer customer relationships, maintain transaction records, satisfy warranty and product-traceability requirements, comply with tax, accounting, contractual, legal, regulatory, or government procurement obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce agreements.

Privacy Rights

Individuals may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information where provided by applicable law. Such requests remain subject to legitimate business, contractual, security, recordkeeping, legal, and regulatory requirements.

Terms of Sale and Website Use

Website Use

This website and its content are provided for lawful commercial and informational purposes. Users may not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious software, engage in fraudulent transactions, impersonate another person or organization, or use website content in violation of applicable law.

Customer Accounts

Customers are responsible for providing accurate account information and maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials. Customers are responsible for activity conducted through their accounts to the extent permitted by applicable law and should promptly report suspected unauthorized access.

We may suspend or terminate an account when reasonably necessary to address suspected fraud, unauthorized activity, misuse, security concerns, or violations of these terms.

Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate product descriptions, manufacturer part numbers, specifications, pricing, photographs, availability information, and related content. Manufacturers may change products, specifications, packaging, availability, and pricing without notice.

Errors may occasionally occur. The right is reserved to correct errors or omissions and, where permitted by law, decline or cancel an order affected by a material pricing, description, availability, or configuration error. If payment has already been collected for an order that is subsequently canceled, the applicable amount will be refunded.

Orders and Acceptance

Submission of an order does not necessarily constitute final acceptance. Orders may be subject to verification of product availability, pricing, payment authorization, shipping requirements, regulatory restrictions, manufacturer requirements, and other applicable conditions.

An order may be declined or canceled where permitted by law, including in cases involving pricing errors, suspected fraud, unavailable or discontinued products, regulatory restrictions, inability to fulfill the order, or other legitimate business reasons.

Pricing and Payment

Prices are stated in U.S. dollars unless otherwise indicated. Applicable taxes, shipping, freight, handling, special-delivery charges, or other disclosed charges may be added where applicable.

Payment must be made using an accepted payment method and may be subject to authorization, verification, and fraud screening.

Written quotations may contain additional terms, expiration dates, quantities, freight provisions, lead times, or procurement requirements. Where an accepted written quotation, purchase order, or contract contains transaction-specific terms, those terms control to the extent they conflict with these general website terms.

Government, Institutional, and Commercial Orders

Government, municipal, educational, institutional, and commercial customers may request quotations, purchase-order acceptance, manufacturer documentation, certificates of conformance, certificates of compliance, or other procurement information.

Contract-specific terms accepted in writing govern the applicable transaction where they differ from these general website terms.

Shipping and Delivery Policy

Orders may be fulfilled from company facilities or directly through manufacturers, authorized distributors, fulfillment partners, or other supply-chain locations. Products within the same order may therefore arrive in separate shipments.

Many products are available for standard shipment. Certain products, including manufacturer-supplied, distributor-supplied, specialized, or temporarily non-stocked products, may require additional processing and fulfillment time. Please allow two to three weeks for delivery of products identified as requiring extended lead time.

Shipping and delivery dates are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing. Product availability and lead times may change because of manufacturer inventory, production schedules, distributor availability, transportation conditions, weather, carrier delays, supply-chain disruptions, or other circumstances.

If a material shipping delay occurs after an order is placed, we will provide notice and any cancellation or refund rights required by applicable law.

Freight and Special Delivery

Oversized, heavy, palletized, hazardous, or specialized products may require commercial freight transportation. Additional charges may apply for liftgate service, residential delivery, limited-access locations, inside delivery, delivery appointments, redelivery, storage, or other special services.

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information and identifying special delivery requirements before shipment.

Damaged, Missing, or Incorrect Shipments

Customers should inspect shipments promptly upon receipt. Note visible freight damage on the carrier's delivery documentation whenever possible.

Report damaged, missing, or incorrectly shipped merchandise promptly after delivery. The order number, description of the issue, and photographs or other documentation may be required to process a carrier, distributor, manufacturer, replacement, or damage claim.

Risk of Loss and Title

Risk of loss and transfer of title are determined by the shipping terms applicable to the transaction and applicable law. Government, institutional, and contract purchases are governed by the applicable delivery and title provisions of the accepted purchase order or contract.

Return and Refund Policy

General Returns

Eligible unused products may be returned subject to authorization and applicable manufacturer or distributor return requirements.

Unless otherwise stated for a particular product or transaction, return requests must be made within 30 days of delivery. Products must be unused, unaltered, complete, and in original packaging with manuals, labels, accessories, and other supplied materials intact.

Return authorization may be required before returning merchandise. Unauthorized returns may be refused.

Original shipping charges are generally nonrefundable unless the return results from an incorrect shipment, defective product, or other fulfillment error for which the seller is responsible.

Customer-requested returns may be subject to return shipping costs and applicable manufacturer or distributor restocking charges.

Life-Safety Equipment

Returns of life-safety and professional safety equipment may be restricted because product history, loading, deployment, contamination, alteration, installation, storage conditions, or previous use may affect the product's integrity and suitability for subsequent use.

Fall-protection equipment, harnesses, lanyards, self-retracting lifelines, technical rescue equipment, climbing equipment, ropes, cordage, connectors, rigging hardware, helmets, personal flotation devices, and similar safety equipment must be unused and returned in a condition permitting product history and integrity to be reasonably verified.

Products that have been used, deployed, installed, altered, damaged, contaminated, registered, subjected to a load, or removed from packaging where removal affects product integrity or return eligibility may not be returnable.

Nonreturnable Products

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, cut-to-length rope, cordage, webbing, and other custom-length materials; specially ordered or custom-configured products; personalized products; products designated by the manufacturer or distributor as nonreturnable; used or deployed life-safety equipment; and products whose condition or history prevents safe resale may be final sale.

Defective Products and Warranty Claims

Defective products may be subject to the applicable manufacturer's warranty procedures. Manufacturer warranty claims are separate from discretionary returns and are governed by the applicable manufacturer's warranty terms.

We may provide reasonable assistance in obtaining manufacturer warranty information or processing an applicable manufacturer warranty claim.

Refunds

Approved refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method where practicable. Processing times may vary depending upon the payment provider and financial institution.

Nothing in this policy limits cancellation, return, refund, or other consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived or restricted.

Product Safety and Legal Disclaimer

Distributor and Reseller Status

Products offered through this website include professional safety, rescue, fall-protection, rope-access, work-at-height, personal protective equipment, water-rescue equipment, confined-space equipment, technical rope and cordage, rigging hardware, scene-support equipment, and related products manufactured by third-party manufacturers.

Unless expressly identified otherwise, products are manufactured, tested, rated, certified, and warranted by their respective manufacturers. The distributor and reseller do not independently manufacture, modify, engineer, test, certify, approve, or establish the performance ratings of third-party products.

Manufacturer Specifications and Standards

Product specifications, ratings, capacities, materials, dimensions, certifications, standards compliance, warnings, and other technical information displayed on this website are derived from documentation published or supplied by the applicable manufacturer.

Where a product is identified as meeting or complying with a particular standard, including ANSI, ANSI/ASSP, NFPA, ASTM, OSHA-referenced requirements, EN, UIAA, CSA, or another recognized standard, that representation is based upon the manufacturer's published documentation for the specific product or configuration. No independent certification to those standards is made by the distributor or reseller.

Safety-critical specifications and ratings are presented as published by the manufacturer. Safety-critical performance values are not independently calculated, converted, rounded, extrapolated, or established.

Manufacturer specifications, standards, certifications, designs, instructions, and documentation may change. The manufacturer's current instructions, labels, warnings, technical documentation, and certifications applicable to the product control in the event of any discrepancy with information displayed on this website.

Product Selection and Compatibility

The purchaser, employer, competent person, qualified person, and end user, as applicable, are responsible for determining whether equipment is appropriate for the intended application, environment, system, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Product categories, filters, tags, descriptions, photographs, and website organization are provided for product identification and shopping convenience. Placement of a product within a category does not constitute an engineering determination, professional safety recommendation, suitability determination, or certification that the product is appropriate for a particular operation.

Components incorporated into fall-protection, rope-access, climbing, confined-space, rescue, rigging, swiftwater, or other life-safety systems must be compatible and used in accordance with the applicable manufacturer's instructions and requirements.

Training, Inspection, Maintenance, and Use

Select, install, inspect, maintain, store, retire, and use professional safety and life-safety equipment in accordance with manufacturer instructions, applicable laws, regulations, and standards, and the purchaser's or employer's safety program.

Where training, qualification, certification, or competent-person oversight is required, equipment must be used only by appropriately trained and qualified personnel. The purchase or sale of equipment does not constitute training, certification, engineering advice, professional safety advice, or authorization for its use.

Purchasers, employers, and end users are responsible for all required pre-use and periodic inspections. Equipment that is damaged, defective, altered, contaminated, expired, recalled, subjected to loads requiring retirement, or otherwise unsuitable under manufacturer requirements must not be used.

Manufacturer Instructions and Warnings

Manufacturer instructions, warnings, manuals, labels, inspection requirements, service-life limitations, retirement criteria, and other documentation supplied with a product are an integral part of that product and must be followed.

Manufacturer identification, serial numbers, lot or batch numbers, date codes, inspection markings, certification markings, warning labels, and other product traceability information must not be removed or altered.

Product Traceability and Recalls

Where products carry manufacturer serial numbers, lot numbers, batch numbers, manufacturing dates, or other traceability identifiers, those identifiers should remain with the equipment throughout its service life.

Available order and supply-chain records may be maintained to facilitate manufacturer warranty matters, safety notices, recalls, and product traceability. Manufacturer recalls, safety notices, inspection directives, and retirement requirements supersede conflicting general information displayed on this website.

Government and Institutional Compliance

Products represented as meeting specified standards are supplied based upon the manufacturer's published documentation applicable to the specific product at the time of sale.

When available through the manufacturer or authorized supply chain, manufacturer-issued technical documentation, certificates of conformance, certificates of compliance, test documentation, or related records may be furnished upon request.

Requirements concerning specific standards, certifications, country of origin, domestic content, Buy American Act compliance, Trade Agreements Act compliance, Berry Amendment compliance, or other procurement-specific requirements must be identified in the applicable solicitation, request for quotation, purchase order, or contract. Compliance is determined for the specific product and procurement requirement.

Rope, Cordage, Webbing, and Cut-Length Products

Rope, cordage, webbing, and similar materials supplied in customer-specified lengths may be final sale once cut.

Cutting, termination, end treatment, identification, inspection, storage, traceability, and use must comply with applicable manufacturer requirements. Purchasers and end users are responsible for following manufacturer requirements concerning compatibility, knots, terminations, anchoring, inspection, service life, retirement criteria, and use.

Manufacturer Warranties

Third-party products are subject to the warranties, terms, limitations, exclusions, and remedies established by their respective manufacturers. No manufacturer's warranty is independently extended, enlarged, altered, or modified unless expressly stated in writing.

Manufacturer warranty information and assistance with applicable manufacturer warranty claims may be provided where appropriate.

Product Images and Descriptions

Product photographs, illustrations, descriptions, colors, packaging, and other representations are provided for identification and informational purposes. Manufacturers may modify product designs, components, packaging, colors, or other characteristics without notice.

If a specific configuration, certification, rating, standard, or feature is required, use the manufacturer's part number and current technical documentation to confirm the product before purchase.

Limitation of Information

Information provided through this website is intended to assist with product identification and purchasing decisions. It is not a substitute for manufacturer instructions, professional training, workplace hazard assessment, engineering analysis, competent-person or qualified-person determinations, or compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and safety standards.

Purchasers, employers, competent persons, qualified persons, and end users remain responsible for equipment selection, system compatibility, required training and supervision, inspection, maintenance, storage, retirement, and use in accordance with manufacturer instructions and applicable requirements.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the website operator, seller, distributor, and reseller shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of the website, inability to use the website, or the purchase, selection, installation, misuse, or use of products sold through the website.

Nothing in these policies excludes, restricts, or modifies rights, remedies, warranties, obligations, or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified.

Liability relating to a specific government, institutional, or commercial contract will be governed by that contract's terms, where applicable.

Intellectual Property

Website design, original written content, branding, graphics, and other proprietary materials are owned by or licensed to the website operator and may not be reproduced, distributed, modified, or commercially used without authorization.

Third-party trademarks, trade names, product names, logos, photographs, technical documents, specifications, and other intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners and are used for product identification, distribution, informational, or other authorized purposes as applicable.

Changes to These Policies

These policies may be amended periodically to reflect changes in products, operations, technology, business practices, legal requirements, regulatory requirements, or applicable standards.

The version published on the website at the time of a transaction will apply to that transaction except where applicable law or an accepted written agreement requires otherwise.
