Petzl SPIN S1 OPEN Pulley

The Petzl SPIN S1 OPEN is a high-efficiency compact single pulley with a gated swivel, designed for technical rescue and work-at-height applications where minimizing weight and system bulk is important. It is intended for haul systems, load deviations, and tensioned highlines.

The moving side plate uses a triple-action opening mechanism that can be operated while wearing gloves, allowing the rope to be installed while the pulley remains connected to the anchor. A red visual indicator warns when the side plate is not securely locked.

The 25 mm sheave runs on sealed ball bearings and provides 91% efficiency. The integrated gated swivel allows the pulley to orient itself under load while providing a large connection opening compatible with equipment such as tripods, REEVE carriage pulleys, and Petzl PAW rigging plates. The swivel can accommodate up to two carabiners and can also accept compatible ropes and slings directly.

Compatible with 7–11 mm rope.
