KONG OKA Canyoning Descender | Blue | 7.8–12.7 mm

The KONG OKA is a versatile aluminum alloy descender developed specifically for canyoning, rope progression, technical rescue, and emergency recovery operations. Designed in collaboration with rescue technicians, the OKA provides multiple braking positions and rope-handling techniques to accommodate different descent conditions and rope diameters.

Its specialized design lets users adjust friction and control rope movement during controlled descents. The OKA is also intended for emergency, recovery, and rescue situations that can be difficult to manage with conventional descenders.

Compatible with ropes measuring 7.8 to 12.7 mm in diameter, the OKA offers a compact solution for canyoning professionals, rescue personnel, and experienced rope technicians.

The descender includes two spare rubber components. KONG recommends the Large Multi-Use Auto Block carabiner for compatible configurations. The connector is sold separately.
