KONG X-Large Carbon Twist Lock ANSI Steel Carabiner | Lunar White

The KONG X-Large Carbon Twist Lock ANSI is a high-strength carbon steel carabiner designed for professional fall protection, industrial rope access, technical rescue, and work-at-height applications. Its asymmetric D-shaped construction helps prevent connector rotation and directs loads along the major axis.

The connector features a two-action Twist Lock sleeve that requires rotating the sleeve and pulling the gate to open. Its reinforced locking sleeve provides additional resistance to lateral stress, meeting ANSI Z359.12 requirements. The locking mechanism is designed for convenient operation, including when wearing work gloves.

KONG's Keylock system helps prevent snagging on ropes, bolts, and connected equipment during attachment and removal.

The Lunar White finish features a zinc-nickel treatment that KONG identifies as providing twice the corrosion resistance of conventional black galvanizing. The finish also improves the visibility of laser-engraved markings and reduces friction against ropes and textile equipment.

With a 50 kN major-axis strength rating, 20 kN minor-axis strength, and 25 mm gate opening, the X-Large Carbon Twist Lock ANSI is built for demanding professional applications.
