Junkin JSA-303 Flotation Stretcher Collar
The Junkin JSA-303 Flotation Stretcher Collar is designed to add flotation capability to compatible Junkin basket stretchers during patient handling and water-rescue operations. The system attaches directly to the stretcher to provide additional buoyancy without requiring permanent modification of the basket.
The flotation system uses Dow Etha Foam® flotation bats enclosed in a high-visibility orange nylon cover. Hook-and-loop fasteners allow the collar to be quickly attached or removed without tools, providing a straightforward way to configure a basket stretcher for operations around water.
The JSA-303 is compatible with Junkin JSA-200 and JSA-300 Series basket stretchers and weighs approximately 3 pounds. Its removable design allows the same basket stretcher to be configured for conventional technical-rescue operations or equipped with flotation when required for water-rescue applications.
