Sterling 7/16" Sentinel BC Static Black Rope – Berry Amendment Compliant

The Sterling 7/16" Sentinel BC Static Black Rope is a Berry Amendment compliant, 100% USA-made static kernmantle rope designed as a primary line for military rappelling, vertical mobility, personnel recovery, and other demanding tactical operations. Its low elongation, durable construction, and low-visibility black profile also make it suitable for CSAR, technical rescue, mountain operations, fixed lines, anchors, and equipment movement.

Built on Sterling's proven SuperStatic2 construction, the Sentinel BC uses 100% high-tenacity nylon with a firm, smooth sheath designed to help keep debris away from the core while maintaining a round profile over edges and compatibility with rigging hardware. The 11.0 mm diameter provides increased strength and load capacity for rappelling, personnel recovery, and raising and lowering operations.

The rope has a minimum breaking strength of 6,294 lb. (28.0 kN) and a working load limit of 651 lb. (2.90 kN) based on a 10:1 safety factor. Elongation is 2.0% at 300 lb., and rope weight is approximately 5.5 lb. per 100 ft., or 81.9 g/m.

The Sentinel BC is manufactured in the United States using 100% U.S.-sourced and manufactured raw materials and is Berry Amendment compliant for military procurement. It is available in 200 ft. (61 m) and 660 ft. (200 m) lengths. The Sentinel BC is a static rope and is not rated for dynamic or lead-climbing falls.
