Junkin JSA-300 Lightweight Basket-Type Stretcher – 1,500 lb. Capacity

The Junkin JSA-300 is a lightweight basket-type rescue stretcher based on the traditional Stokes basket design and manufactured in Louisville, Kentucky. Designed for technical rescue environments, it combines a rigid welded steel frame with wire-mesh construction to provide a durable patient-transport platform for rescue operations.

The stretcher is constructed from welded 17-gauge carbon steel and finished with a gray powder coating for increased durability. A 1.5-inch hexagonal wire-mesh lining provides the basket structure while helping keep overall weight to approximately 33 pounds.

An integrated leg divider with footplates helps position and support the patient, and it includes four patient-restraint straps. The rigid basket measures 82 inches long, 24 inches wide, and 8.5 inches high, with a rated load capacity of 1,500 pounds.

The JSA-300 serves as the foundation of Junkin's Series 300 basket-stretcher system and can be paired with compatible lifting bridles, patient padding, storage covers, flotation collars, and mounting hardware for specialized rescue applications. Junkin offers dedicated bridle systems for vertical and horizontal lifting applications.
