Kong Ovalone DNA ANSI Carbon Steel Twist-Lock Carabiner, Lunar White

The Kong Ovalone DNA ANSI is a high-strength carbon steel connector featuring a specialized helical shape that allows connected components to be oriented approximately 90 degrees relative to one another. This makes it particularly useful in systems where an offset connection or improved alignment between devices is required.

The twisted-body design helps correctly orient connected equipment such as descenders, rope clamps, fall arresters, and similar hardware without requiring an additional connector solely to change orientation. This can simplify connection systems while improving device positioning and operational efficiency.

The ANSI version features an automatic twist-lock gate and provides a 40 kN major-axis strength rating and 15 kN minor-axis strength rating. The 19 mm gate opening accommodates a broad range of professional rope-access, rescue, and fall-protection equipment.

Constructed from carbon steel, the connector uses Kong's Lunar White zinc-nickel surface treatment. The coating is designed to provide increased corrosion resistance compared with standard black zinc plating while also improving scratch resistance and providing a uniform finish.

The Ovalone DNA is manufactured in Italy and certified to EN 362 Class M and EAC requirements. This configuration is the ANSI version.
