PMI® Rapid Search Line II

Designed by firefighters for firefighters, the PMI® Rapid Search Line II is a compact, highly visible search line built for firefighter orientation and search operations in low- to zero-visibility environments. Its supple construction packs down small while remaining substantial enough to locate and grip while wearing structural firefighting gloves.

The 9 mm construction uses a large Technora® core cable with nylon filler cables and a high-tenacity nylon sheath, providing durability and heat resistance for demanding fireground search operations. Rapid Search Line II is intended as a search and orientation line for retracing a rescuer’s path. It is not a life safety rope and is not intended for rappelling, ascending, descending, or primary support of human life.
