NRS Standard Rescue Throw Bag – 3/8" Floating Rescue Rope

The NRS Standard Rescue Throw Bag provides a compact, highly visible rescue line for swiftwater and water-rescue emergencies. Designed for straightforward deployment and retrieval, the system combines a rugged Cordura® bag with high-visibility floating polypropylene rope for rescue personnel working around moving water.

The included 3/8-inch polypropylene rope is yellow for increased visibility and has a tensile strength of 1,900 pounds. The rope floats, helping rescuers and subjects maintain visual contact with the line during water-rescue operations.

The rugged Cordura® deployment bag incorporates a 2-inch mesh panel to improve drainage and reduce drying time after use. A flared nylon top with barrel-lock drawstring provides smooth deployment while simplifying rope reloading and securing the bag after use.

An elastic loop and integrated pocket accommodate a glow stick for improved identification during nighttime and low-light operations. Large grab loops provide positive handling points during deployment and retrieval.
