KONG FULL Multi-Use Rigging and Belay Plate

The KONG FULL combines a rigging plate, belay plate, and descender in one aluminum alloy device for mountaineering and technical rescue. The wide upper opening accepts two connectors, and three lower attachment holes help keep connections organized at the belay station. Two central braking slots provide friction for belaying or rappelling with ropes from 8 to 12 mm in diameter.

The FULL measures 125 mm (4.9 in.) long and weighs 90 g (3.2 oz.). KONG individually tests each plate.

Service Life and Inspections

KONG sets no fixed retirement age for the FULL. Continued use depends on the plate passing checks before and after each use. KONG also requires a periodic inspection at least every 12 months from the date of first use, performed by a competent person trained and authorized by KONG.
