Junkin JSA-365 Rigid Plastic Backboard – 400 lb. Capacity
The Junkin JSA-365 is a rugged, one-piece polyethylene backboard designed for patient immobilization and transport in emergency response and rescue environments. Its lightweight, low-profile construction provides a rigid patient-support platform while remaining easy to handle, transport, store, and decontaminate.
Twelve large hand holes positioned around the board provide multiple gripping positions for rescuers during patient movement. Built-in runners allow the backboard to be slid into position while under load and help provide clearance beneath the board during handling.
The polyethylene structure is internally reinforced with wooden dowel rods for additional rigidity. The board is X-ray translucent, allowing it to remain in place during applicable imaging procedures. Four patient-securing straps are included.
The JSA-365 measures 73 inches long, 16 inches wide, and 2 inches high. It weighs approximately 15 pounds and has a rated load capacity of 400 pounds. Its bright-yellow construction provides high visibility in emergency and rescue environments.
