Elk River I-Beam Slider Anchorage – Adjustable, Fits 3-1/2" to 12" Beams
The Elk River I-Beam Slider is a portable anchorage connector that clamps to a structural I-beam and travels along it, giving the worker a mobile tie-off point that follows them down the beam without disconnecting and repositioning hardware.
The slider adjusts to fit beam flanges from 3-1/2" to 12" wide, covering the great majority of structural steel encountered in building construction, bridge work, and industrial framing. An adjustor button at each end allows the clamp jaws to be set independently from both sides, so the unit can be sized and secured to the beam without specialized tools.
A central swivel ring provides the connection point for a lanyard, self-retracting lifeline, or other compatible connector, and rotates freely to prevent twist as the worker moves along the beam.
