Elk River 7' Web Self-Retracting Lifeline – Dyneema Webbing, Aluminum Housing
The Elk River 7' Web Retractable is a compact personal self-retracting lifeline that keeps the lifeline taut as the worker moves, minimizing slack and reducing free-fall distance compared to a conventional shock-absorbing lanyard. The unit locks automatically at the onset of a fall and arrests the worker in less than 24 inches, meeting ANSI Z359.14 as a Class A device for work with limited fall clearance.
The lifeline is 1" Dyneema webbing, a high-modulus synthetic fiber offering exceptional strength-to-weight ratio with excellent cut and abrasion resistance. The aluminum housing keeps overall weight low enough for the unit to be worn directly on the harness without adding meaningful fatigue over a full shift.
The device is supplied with steel connectors — a carabiner at the harness attachment and a snap hook at the anchorage end — for secure connection to compatible anchor points.
