Elk River 20' Cable Self-Retracting Lifeline – Galvanized Cable, Snap Hook and Carabiner
The Elk River 20' Cable Retractable is a self-retracting lifeline (SRL) that keeps the lifeline taut as the worker moves, minimizing slack and reducing free-fall distance compared to a conventional lanyard. The unit locks automatically at the onset of a fall and arrests the worker in less than 24 inches, qualifying it as an ANSI Z359.14 Class A device for applications with limited fall clearance.
The lifeline is 3/16" galvanized aircraft cable housed in an impact-resistant thermoplastic shell, with an internal energy-absorbing system that limits the arresting forces transmitted to the worker. Cable construction resists abrasion, cuts, and heat exposure encountered in steel, welding, and heavy construction environments.
The unit connects via a steel carabiner at the anchorage and a snap hook with integral fall indicator at the harness D-ring, allowing a user or competent person to identify at a glance whether the device has arrested a fall and must be removed from service.
Due to global supply chain conditions, colors may vary.
