The 3M DBI-SALA Nano-Lok 3100518 is a compact, lightweight personal self-retracting lifeline designed for professional fall-arrest applications. This single-leg Class 1 SRL uses a 6-foot web lifeline and an aluminum carabiner configuration, providing a compact personal fall-protection system for construction, utilities, industrial maintenance, manufacturing, warehousing, and other work-at-height environments. 3M identifies 3100518 as the current replacement for legacy model 3101211.

The Nano-Lok incorporates a quick-activating, speed-sensing braking system designed to arrest a fall quickly while maintaining a short, automatically retracting lifeline during normal movement. Its compact design reduces the amount of equipment hanging from the worker compared with longer traditional lanyard systems.

The durable thermoplastic housing protects the internal components during demanding occupational use, while the swiveling anchorage connection helps the device follow worker movement and minimizes lifeline twisting.

An external energy absorber helps manage fall-arrest forces and incorporates an impact indicator to assist with post-fall inspection. The Nano-Lok family is designed for direct integration with compatible personal fall-arrest systems.
