3M DBI-SALA Lad-Saf X3 Detachable Cable Sleeve, 3/8"

The 3M DBI-SALA Lad-Saf X3 Detachable Cable Sleeve provides hands-free fall protection for workers climbing fixed ladders equipped with compatible Lad-Saf vertical cable safety systems. The sleeve travels automatically with the worker during ascent and descent and locks onto the cable in the event of a fall, helping the worker regain footing while remaining connected to the system.

Designed specifically for 3/8-inch (9.5 mm) Lad-Saf vertical lifeline cable, the X3 can be installed or removed at any point along the lifeline. It is approved for use with compatible galvanized or stainless-steel 1x7 or 7x19 solid-core cable.

A dual-independent locking mechanism provides redundant fall-arrest functionality, while anti-inversion features help reduce the possibility of incorrect installation. The stainless-steel construction provides corrosion resistance for demanding outdoor and industrial environments.

The X3 incorporates a laser-cut stainless-steel energy absorber and visual fall indicator to assist with post-fall inspection. An integrated swivel improves mobility while climbing, and the included Saflok steel carabiner provides connection to the worker's harness. The sleeve is also equipped with 3M Connected Safety ID for digital identification and equipment-management applications.
