The 3M DBI-SALA 8301087 is a complete portable confined-space entry and retrieval system combining a 7-foot aluminum tripod with a manually operated Salalift II winch and 90 feet of stainless-steel cable. It is designed for confined-space entry, retrieval, rescue, and personnel-handling applications where a stable overhead anchorage and mechanical retrieval system are required.

The aluminum tripod features telescoping adjustable locking legs, an integrated pulley system, rubber-padded feet, a leg-support safety chain, quick-mount provisions for mechanical devices, and integrated 5,000 lb. (22 kN) eyebolt anchor points. The included manually operated winch provides mechanical advantage for raising and lowering personnel and incorporates a swiveling snap hook with an impact indicator.

The system includes a 90-foot (27.4 m) stainless-steel lifeline. The tripod's eyebolt has a material-handling capacity of 1,000 lb., while the mechanical-device mounting bracket has a material-handling capacity of 620 lb. The complete system is intended for professional industrial and occupational confined-space applications.
